Caitlin + Wade | A Charming Celestine Wedding

Updated: Feb 17, 2021

St. Celestine Catholic Church | Celestine, IN | The Eighteenth Day of May 2019

If you have never wandered out to Celestine, IN, you definitely should take a day trip to this gorgeous location! The rolling hills are captivating, and the country chic is exceptional. Nonetheless, it was an absolute joy to capture Caitlin and Wade’s wedding day with such marvelous scenery.

As the girls got all dolled up at Illusions Nail Hair Studio and Day Spa in Jasper, IN, Bryson and I began our day at Caitlin + Wade’s dreamy, country home, ready to capture the all accent item goodness!  Starting with the wedding gown, we were jaw-dropped when pulling it out of the bag. Caitlin’s choice of a Misty styled dress by Morilee was astounding! Its a-line silhouette with a heavily beaded bodice was complimented beautifully with spaghetti straps, illusion corset, and tulle skirt. Her other bridal highlights included a dazzling bracelet, elegant, dangly earrings, classic pearl necklace, beaded Olivia Miller sandals, and an enchanting floral bouquet arrangement.

Caitlin’s “something blue” was incorporated with her lovely bridesmaids’ dresses that included four different shades of blue. How gorgeous are they?!

After Caitlin slipped into her wedding gown, her mother helped finish the job with a few buttons, giggles, and hugs. Then, it was time for the daddy daughter reveal! We love this moment when the father gets to see his little princess as a bride. Oh the tears! Caitlin tiptoed up to her father, tapped him on the shoulder, and there was just a tender moment of silence. With tears in his eyes, her father grabbed her in the sweetest embrace and didn’t let go. So sweet!

The bridesmaids were just as in awe as we were when seeing Caitlin for the first time. They gathered together in a big hug and could not take their eyes off of her. The day resumed with more and more pictures of this bride with her stunning ladies by her side.  We can’t forget about the groom and his men though!

Wade had such a charming smile as he anticipated seeing his bride at the ceremony. His groom ensemble included a navy suit and vest, ivory colored tie, brown leather dress shoes, and a darling boutonniere crafted by the Green Thumb! The groomsmen did not skip a beat to keep Wade laughing and smiling before the ceremony. With his dad as his best man, Wade was ready for the moment of watching his future Mrs. Lueken walk down the aisle to him.

As Caitlin glided down the aisle, it was if time had stopped. The church was filled with elation and merriment as these two met each other’s gaze and didn’t let go. The ceremony progressed; vows were made; and the marriage was sealed with a kiss!

Next, we captured the family and bridal party portraits and even got to snap a few of the newlywed’s first snuggles as husband and wife!

The bridal party made their grand entrance into the reception venue with all kinds of funky moves! Humorous and meaningful speeches were made, and everyone was ready  for some dancing! While the good times were rolling with Caitlin + Wade’s closest family and friends, we stole the couple away for a ravishing sunset session! Like we said earlier, the rolling hills and beautiful scenery did not disappoint when it came time for these portraits. The sun was setting, and the couple was gleaming as they nestled into each other with sweet kisses and giggles.

Being a part of this wedding day had a little extra sentiment to it since Caitlin and I {Jenna} have grown up with each other since middle school. Watching her go from a middle school friend to an astonishing bride and marry the love of her life was an incredible experience to be a part of. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Lueken!
