A Visionary, Late Fall Engagement Session | Lincoln City, IN | The 16th day of November in 2019

Madison and Max won our hearts over the second we met them. Individually, each of them have such a sweet and goofy personality, which makes them the perfect blend of a wonderful couple, preparing to become husband and wife. Their enthusiasm for their relationship and wedding day was purely adorable, and we captured it all on camera!
One of the first questions we always ask our couples is, “How did he propose?!” The smiles they show that follow this question never fail to endear us. Max began to describe all of the memorable details of how he decided to propose to Madison. During a hiking trip they took to the UP of Michigan, Max kept the ring hidden and didn’t give away any hints for the 14 hour drive. As they began hiking the next morning, Max waited a solid 15 minutes into the hike before proposing because he couldn’t wait another second! What was their view during the proposal you ask? Miners Castle with a morning view of Lake Superior! How gorgeous!
Madison + Max wanted a forest landscape for their engagement session, so we explored Lincoln Boyhood Memorial and the St. Meinrad Archabbey, capturing all the snuggly moments with the most beautiful locations! Not only were the backdrops beautiful, but let’s give a shoutout to these GORGEOUS fiancés! Their apparel choices of an emerald green dress paired with khakis and a button up were a perfect accent to the “whimsical” weeds at our first location. ;) Then, their casual attire matched the second location to a T, especially since we did some major hiking to find the perfect spots! These two were absolute naturals in front of the camera, which only made Bryson and I even more elated to photograph their wedding day in May of 2020!!!
