Want to know how to make a photographer team’s day go from great to AMAZING?!?! Decide to book them before you’re even engaged! While zooming with Madison and Lance for a meet and greet, we of course asked them who popped the big question, and Madison answered, “We’re not actually engaged yet, but it should be happening soon!” After sharing lots of stories and giggles with this almost engaged couple, we were gleaming with joy when they booked us as their wedding photographers before the ring was even on her finger!

Lance “put a ring on it” shortly after our fun zoom chat, which meant celebrating and capturing their sweet proposal in person! Though there was a slight chill in the air as we ventured around Lance’s parent’s neighborhood and through the paths of the Papa John’s Headquarters, the warmth of Lance + Madison’s wonderful personalities gave us even more affirmation of the excitement we had for photographing their wedding.
Madison + Lance compliment each other in countless ways, but one aspect stuck out to our photographer selves: they both had a vision for their wedding, and they worked endlessly to see those dreams come true. Y’ALL. We can’t even explain how jaw dropped we were when we arrived to the backyard wedding of our own dreams!! Every square inch of Lance’s family homestead was detailed to perfection. White tents accented with dangling chandeliers. Greenery on greenery on greenery. Vintage couches. Modern decor touches. An ice cream truck. I REPEAT, AN ICE CREAM TRUCK! Clearly, we could go on and on, but needless to say, we were filled with giddiness to capture every well-detailed moment.
After experiencing a first look with her bridesmaids and father, we all had butterflies to witness Lance’s reaction when seeing his bride. The sentimentality grew for this darling couple as they stood in the exact spot they would share their vows to one another when sharing their first look. Lance’s look in his eyes said it all: he was only a few moments away from and nothing but ready to become a husband to his best friend and dearest partner in life.
Madison’s mother had the incredible privilege of officiating the wedding, so her words, “You may now kiss your wife”, were said with a wealth of love and joy as she watched her daughter take on a new last name and gained a son all in the midst of a kiss. Cue the bubbles and bubbly as Madison and Lance left the tent as The Williams!

Madison + Lance, you truly made our photographer dreams come true by providing our first ice cream truck and firework show experience at a wedding! However, our love for you both will always be rooted in how we are amazed at your kindness, diligence for life, and love for the Lord. Congrats to the newlyWilliams!
