Madison + Max | A Marriage as Beautiful as an Emerald

The 22nd Day of August, 2020 | St. Boniface Catholic Church | St. Meinrad, IN

When piecing together your wedding day color palette, have you ever considered looking up the meaning behind one of the specific colors you have chosen? Well, our curiosity got the best of us, and we decided to do a little digging into the stunning color of emerald that Madison and Max chose for their wedding day. Not only did our research bring a whole new insight to this beautiful gemstone, but it further confirmed our belief in Madison + Max choosing each other as soulmates.

An emerald is the stone of inspiration that embodies unity, compassion, and unconditional love. It promotes friendship, balance between partners, and is particularly known for providing contentment and loyalty.

OH. MY. LANTA. These two may not realize it, but they could not have chosen a better color to represent their unity! In the little bit we have known Madison + Max, it has always been so clear to Bryson and I that they are the prime examples of best friends. Best friends that laugh together endlessly, bring each other to a beautiful state of equilibrium, and have the most compassionate love for each other. Needless to say, emerald’s name should be changed to Maxison or Madimax. ;)

These two decided to bring in their celebration of marriage with a whole crowd of besties, which made for the grandest time all day long! With a whopping 25 people standing by their sides, the church bells rang with the sweet sound of officially introducing Mr. and Mrs. Rickelman!! As if the celebration in the air wasn’t thick enough, the newlywed's guest list brought it down on the dance floor with all the groovy moves and tunes. All in all, this day was full of beautiful moments and one little surprise...Madison and Max were the first Rose + Oak couple to know about our assistant photographer in the making!! We couldn’t wait a second longer and just had to share the news. With sweet embraces and squeals, we couldn’t have ended the day better!

Madison + Max, may you always treat your marriage like an emerald!
